Notice on Recruitment Fraud - Perella Weinberg

Notice of Use of Automated Employment Decision Tool

Perella Weinberg uses an automated employment decision tool ("AEDT") to assist in evaluating certain candidates during the hiring process for select lateral roles. This includes AI-assisted resume screening and first-round interview screening for the positions where the tool is deployed.

What the tool assesses. The AEDT is used at two stages of the hiring process for select lateral roles:

  • Resume screening: the tool evaluates prior employers and the relevance of that experience to the open role, the nature of work performed at prior employers as it relates to the open role, and the presence of relevant work experience, skills, and competencies stated in the job description.
  • Interview screening: the tool evaluates candidate responses to standardized behavioral interview questions, assessing communication of qualifications relative to role requirements and firm-specific competencies.

Bias audit. Alex's AI Interviewer system was independently audited for bias in accordance with NYC Local Law 144 by Warden AI (Warden Technologies, Inc.), a third-party auditor with no financial or development interest in the tool. The most recent audit that was available at the time this notice was posted (audit published July 8, 2026; sample size 17,544) measured selection rates, impact ratios, and outcome consistency across sex, race/ethnicity, and intersectional (sex × race/ethnicity) categories, and found the tool's outputs within the accepted range across all measured groups. Perella Weinberg began using this tool for the roles described above on October 2, 2026. Current audit summaries, including updated audit reports completed by the vendor after this notice is posted, and related compliance documentation are maintained at the vendor's trust center: https://trust.alex.com/resources and https://trust.warden-ai.com/alex/ai-interviewer.

Data collected, source, and retention. Details on the type of data collected for this AEDT, the source of that data, and Perella Weinberg's data retention policy may be obtained by submitting a written request to humanresources@pwpartners.com.

Human role in the decision. The AEDT does not make final hiring decisions. Results are reviewed by Perella Weinberg's recruiting and hiring team as one input among others in the overall selection process.

Requesting an alternative process or accommodation. If you would like to request an alternative selection process or a reasonable accommodation under applicable law, please contact humanresources@pwpartners.com. Requests will be reviewed in accordance with Perella Weinberg's reasonable accommodation policies.
