Description
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for obtaining Surgical Pre-authorizations and/or Surgical Pre-determinations for surgical procedures including injections. Responsible for High End Radiology authorizations ordered by surgeons as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Education Degree Required/Preferred
• HS Degree - Required
• AA or AS - Preferred
Work Experience and Additional Information
• 3-5 years medical office experience to include pre-authorization and/or pre-determinations. Required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT & ICD-10 coding (Preferred)
• Excellent communication skills with all clinic staff levels
