Farmers Business NetworkCompany Overview
Farmers Business Network, Inc. (FBN®) is a pioneering digital marketplace and farmer-to-farmer network dedicated to empowering family farmers globally while promoting sustainable agriculture. With over 117,000 members, FBN's Farmers First® promise unites growers and ranchers in their quest to maximize profitability and increase food production. FBN leverages data, AI and direct-to-farm delivery to simplify the agricultural supply chain, boosting convenience and transparency, reducing farm input costs, enhancing access to financing and services, and providing personalized farm insights. Its Gradable® joint-venture helps thousands of farmers adopt and earn rewards for regenerative practices while simplifying the access of regenerative products for the world’s leading food companies and grain buyers.
Gradable is hiring Sustainability Program Leads to join our team to enable farmers participating in programs. The primary regenerative practices our programs promote include conservation tillage, cover cropping, and precision nitrogen application. Environmental outcomes our programs strive for include increased nitrogen efficiency, reduced carbon emissions, soil carbon sequestration, reduced soil runoff, and enhanced water quality. Our sustainability programs are
successful when farmers can profitably integrate regenerative practices into their farm business.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support farmers in understanding requirements, executing contracts, submitting data, and meeting quality control and quality assurance standards. This individual will work remotely and be responsible for outbound contact and support of farmers over phone, text, and email. A successful candidate works efficiently with a high attention to detail. You have experience with row crop agronomics and enjoy talking to farmers about their practices and farm business. You are professional and will communicate clearly with technical service providers and grain merchants at our partner commercial agriculture companies. You are interested in ecosystem service markets and expanding the use of regenerative practices.
This is an opportunity to grow sustainability markets in agriculture from the ground up.
