The SVP, Financial Institutions is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving growth, sales performance, and client impact across Equifax Financial Institutions business. This leader will oversee a team responsible for some of our largest and most strategic financial institution relationships, with accountability for delivering revenue growth, deepening client partnerships, and ensuring consistent execution against our commercial strategy.

This role leads an organization of approximately 75 employees and is accountable for approximately $340M in annual direct revenue ($400M+ total enabled revenue) across banks, consumer finance, credit unions, brokerage, emerging markets, and new logo acquisition.

Success in this role requires a leader who can translate strategy into execution through others—setting a high bar for sales performance and discipline, creating clear accountability, developing strong commercial talent, and ensuring sellers are focused on the opportunities that will have the greatest impact. The SVP will also serve as a critical connector across USIS, partnering closely with Product, Marketing, Data & Analytics, Operations, Technology, and other revenue teams to bring the full value of Equifax to our Financial Institutions clients.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales organization, establishing clear expectations and accountability for revenue growth, pipeline development, client engagement, and execution.
  • Drive consistent sales rigor and operating discipline across the team, using data, pipeline insights, and performance metrics to identify opportunities, address gaps, and accelerate results.
  • Build a high performance culture where leaders and sellers understand expectations, take ownership for outcomes, and continuously raise the bar.
  • Deepen relationships with some of the largest and most strategic Financial Institutions clients at Equifax, serving as a senior executive partner while ensuring strong day-to-day ownership through the sales organization.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to expand the Equifax presence within existing accounts, grow share of wallet, and introduce new capabilities that address evolving client needs.
  • Translate market, client, and competitive insights into actionable commercial priorities and growth opportunities.
  • Partner closely across Product, Marketing, Data & Analytics, Operations, Technology, and other USIS organizations to develop and deliver integrated solutions for clients.
  • Create strong connectivity between client needs and internal teams, ensuring market insights influence product strategy, innovation, and investment priorities.
  • Establish clear priorities across the organization and ensure resources are focused against the clients, opportunities, and initiatives with the greatest potential for impact.
  • Attract, retain, develop, and actively manage talent, building a strong pipeline for the future.
  • Represent Financial Institutions as a senior leader within USIS, contributing to broader business strategy, operating priorities, and cross-functional initiatives.

What Experience You Need

  • Significant commercial and sales leadership experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering revenue growth and leading complex, high-performing sales organizations.
  • Experience leading leaders and sellers with direct accountability for sales performance, pipeline, forecasting, and revenue outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Institutions and the needs of large, complex clients across banking, consumer finance, credit unions, and brokerage markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and expand strategic enterprise accounts through consultative, solution-oriented selling.
  • Experience establishing sales discipline, performance expectations, and accountability across a commercial organization.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop senior sales talent while effectively addressing performance gaps.
  • Strong executive presence and experience building trusted relationships with C-suite and senior client stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success operating in a matrixed environment and influencing across Product, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Data & Analytics, and other functions.
