About Us
SIAA – The Agent Alliance helps independent insurance agencies grow and thrive. Through our network of Master Agencies, we give independent agents the carrier access, resources and support they need to compete and win. We are a fast-paced, growing organization, and the way we operate is central to the experience we deliver to our members.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Vice President, National Operations to own operational performance across all of our Managed Master Agencies. This is a high-impact seat on our Alliance Leadership Team. You’ll set the operating standards that our regional leaders execute, lead the integration of newly acquired and managed master agencies, and make sure every member receives a consistent, best-in-class experience.
If you’re an operations leader who knows independent agency distribution, loves building scalable models and leads through others across a national footprint, we’d like to talk.
What You’ll Do
- Set the operating strategy. Define and execute the national operating strategy, performance standards and governance that support long-term growth.
- Build consistency at scale. Establish common operating models and service standards across all Managed Master Agencies, with clear decision rights between national and regional leadership.
- Lead integration and onboarding. Own operational due diligence, integration planning, onboarding and performance stabilization for acquisitions and new master agencies.
- Elevate the member experience. Lead AccessPlus and drive member growth, retention and satisfaction.
- Lead leaders. Guide a team that includes AccessPlus Management and the Director of Book Management, and lead Regional VPs of Operations on a dotted-line basis.
- Drive growth and profitability. Partner with Regional Presidents and our sales and strategic partner leaders to improve operating margin, profit-sharing results and commercial lines growth.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree, or 10+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive property and casualty experience in a carrier, wholesale and/or agency setting.
- Deep knowledge of independent agency operations, carrier appointments, contracts, commissions and agency support services.
- A record of leading leaders and driving performance through geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, with results improving margin and efficiency.
- Working knowledge of sales and service center operations, agency management systems, CRM platforms and operational technology.
- Clear communication and the ability to build trust and influence at every level.
Nice to have: experience integrating acquisitions or onboarding agencies at scale; network or membership-based distribution experience; private equity-backed or high-growth experience; CPCU or CIC designation.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $210,000 annually. This range reflects SIAA’s good-faith estimate of what it reasonably expects to pay at the time of hire. The final salary will depend on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, scope of responsibility and work location. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive with a target of up to 25% of annual salary, based on company and individual performance.
SIAA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision insurance; 401(k) plan with a company match; life and disability insurance; paid vacation, sick, and volunteer time off; paid parental leave, and professional development.
SIAA does not ask about or consider an applicant’s salary history when setting pay.
Our Values
We’re connected by five core values: Persistent Positivity, Intellectual Curiosity, Humble Authenticity, Selfless Collaboration and Solution-Driven. If they sound like you, you’ll fit right in.
