A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make

The Senior Vice President, Operations (SVPO) is responsible for oversight of the Service Operations in an assigned region. This position provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the Service Operations have the right strategies in place to effectively grow the business and to ensure profitability. The SVPO accomplishes this through a respectful and constructive style, driven by the DEKRA’s vision. The SVPO role is a key senior management position that reports to the President of DEKRA Americas and is a member of the DEKRA Leadership Group (DLG).

What You’ll Do

  • Actively contribute to a culture of safety and health by demonstrating accountability, communication, and oversight in the following key areas: Strategic Alignment, Accountability, Performance Monitoring, Reports, Communication & Engagement, Incident Management, and Corrective Actions.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management of Service Operations that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company.
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes for assigned Service Operations.
  • Drive the Service Operations to achieve and exceed sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
  • Build, motivate and lead high-performing Service Operation teams
  • As a member of executive leadership, help foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.

What You’ll Bring

  • A four-year degree in Business or related field or combination of related experience and education
  • Experience with complex matrix organizations
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to create a highly engaging and productive work environment
  • Experience transforming or redesigning business functions and structures
  • Data and metrics-driven approach with experience structuring, tracking & improving KPIs and metrics
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally

Physical Considerations

  • Ability to work in a general office environment
  • Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone
  • Ability to work flexible and long hours, as needed

Travel Considerations

  • Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to50%
  • Ability to lift and manage standard business-travel luggage

What You’ll Receive for the Value You Bring

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is $245,000 annually to $265,000 annually. This position is designated as bonus-eligible, subject to plan terms and conditions. Actual pay is based on several factors including market location and position-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
