Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Vice President to join our Central Partnership Negotiation Team. This critical role will drive high-stakes media partnerships negotiations across our agency’s portfolio, managing relationships and securing optimal deal structures with premier media partners including Disney, NBCU, Paramount, Netflix. Lead and develop a team of 3-4 negotiation professionals (Director to Senior Associate levels), providing mentorship, strategic guidance, and performance management
Experience
- 15+ years’ experience in media buying, planning or partnership negotiation
- 5+ years in senior leadership roles managing high value media partnerships and negotiations
- Proven track record negotiating with major media companies (streaming platforms, broadcasters, OEM partners, audio platforms)
- Deep expertise across digital video CTV, streaming, OEM partnerships and digital audio landscapes
Knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of programmatic and direct media buying metrics
- Current knowledge of streaming/CTV measurement, attribution and technology ecosystems
- Familiarity with agency holding company structures and client management dynamics
- Understanding of legal contractual implications in media partnerships
Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Negotiations & Deal Management:
- Lead complex, negotiations with Tier 1 media partners (Paramount, Disney, NBCU, Netflix), OEM, and Digital Audio
- Develop and execute comprehensive negotiation strategies that maximize client value, secure preferential pricing and obtain premium inventory access
- Structure innovative deal frameworks including performance guarantees, attribution models, audience targeting capabilities and custom partnerships opportunities
Agency Management:
- Key first point of contact for agencies and SBU’s
- Directs agency partner requests to the appropriate parties within organization
- Builds and issues important summaries and POVs
- Supports agency new business teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy:
- Work in conjunction with the Commercial Team on deal structure and approvals
- Partner closely with Investment, Strategy, Analytics and Client Service teams to align negotiation outcomes with client goals
- Provide thought leadership on market trends, pricing dynamics and evolving media landscape
- Mentor and develop negotiation team members, sharing best practices and institutional knowledge
- Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to ensure contract compliance and favorable terms
Administrative:
- Organizes and tracks endeavors, targets, and deal health
- Key point of contact for external meetings with media owners
$200,000 - $225,000
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
