OVERVIEW This role is responsible for contributing to and/or leading operational demand planning activities, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of forecasts, and driving continuous improvement within the demand planning process. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and implementing solutions to optimize forecasting accuracy and efficiency. This role requires you to operate in the 3.30 pm to 12.30 am shift. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead the end-to-end Demand Review process to develop monthly, multi-channel volume forecasts and align the operational demand plan by partnering with Marketing, Finance, and Sales to incorporate consumer movement, merchandising, and customer insights. Generate data-driven business insights by collaborating with GIC Operational Demand Analysts to develop item/week/location forecasts to achieve inventory targets while enabling superior customer service. Collaborate with the GIC Statistical Forecasting Analyst to deliver business insights, optimize statistical forecasting outputs, and influence commercial and business teams to drive adoption, reduce manual effort, and improve forecasting effectiveness. Contribute to new product forecasting assumptions and participate in launch meetings. Partner with the cross-functional business team to ensure a successful Sales and Operations process that balances supply and demand while minimizing waste. Metrics and KPIs: Engage / Participate in OU BPM RUN and Improve meetings to provide business insights on defined business metrics. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing current processes and implementing new forecasting methodologies, tools, and techniques to reduce effort and improve results. Collaborate with the GIC Hub leadership team to support functional Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures (OGSM) development, and partner with the Global Process Excellence (GPE) and Operating Unit (OU) teams on process improvement initiatives. Drive a continuous improvement mindset through waste elimination, improving, standardizing, and automating existing processes. Mentor & train team members to develop SWAT capability within the HUB Demand planning team. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered) Experience: Minimum 6–8 years of experience in demand planning and people management, with experience managing a team of 8–10 people. Technical Skills: Experience in Demand Planning, Demand Forecasting, S&OP, Statistical modelling or Supply Planning. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s in business administrations – with specialization in Supply chain, Operations management Certification: CSCP, CPF- Certified Professional Forecaster by Institute of Business Forecasting ELIGIBILITY Applicants must meet minimum age qualifications in the country in which the job is located.
