System Accountant

Systems Accountant | Hybrid and Flexible working

We are currently working in partnership with a fast-paced and reputable organisation based in Staffordshire who are looking to identify a Systems Accountant, during an exciting period of transformation. This position offers hybrid and flexible working.

The Systems Accountant post will work within a commercially focused team to provide financial advice and support, whilst responsible for the management, maintenance, development and improvement of the core financial systems.

Responsibilities include;

• Delivering high-quality, efficient financial, accounting and budgeting services to support key areas
• Supporting with the delivery of medium-term financial planning
• Ensuring effective administration of the finance system overseeing and remaining a key point of contact between Finance and IT
• Championing the finance system and be the lead point of contact for system-related queries
• Providing training to team members to ensure effective and efficient use of systems
• Supporting the delivery of an integrated, robust financial planning process

The successful candidate;

• CCAB/CIMA qualified Finance professional (or equivalent experience)
• Experience using complex finance systems (SAP desirable)
• Strong business partnering skillset with the ability to build influential relationships with non-finance
