About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced System Administrator to manage, secure, and improve our IT infrastructure, contribute to cloud migrations and Microsoft 365 integrations and support IT modernisation projects. You’ll join our Technical Operations team within the ITOS business line, collaborating closely with System Administrators and other IT specialists to ensure a stable and reliable IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and monitoring IT infrastructure primarily hosted in the Netherlands, with additional infrastructure in Vietnam, covering networks, firewalls, switches, and servers across Microsoft and Fortinet environments.
• Evaluating, planning, and implementing cloud migrations.
• Managing and integrating Microsoft 365 environments, including tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Contributing to IT projects focused on innovation, modernisation, and continuous improvement.
• Providing technical expertise to the first-line Service Desk for more complex issues.

Requirements

• From 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar infrastructure-focused IT role.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to independently plan and execute system migrations and upgrades.
• Proactive mindset, with the ability to take ownership, work independently, and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Willingness to provide support outside regular working hours when required.

Must-have

• Microsoft Azure: Experience in Azure administration and/or migrations.
• PowerShell: Experience with scripting and automation.
• Microsoft 365: Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments, preferably including Microsoft Defender, migrations, and integrations.
• Windows Server: Experience administering Windows Server 2016 or later.
• Networking & Security: Knowledge of networking, VPNs, and firewalls, preferably Fortinet.
• System Maintenance & Security: Experience with patch management and system hardening.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ISO 27001 or an interest in developing knowledge of the standard.
• Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Basic Linux administration skills.
