About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced System Analyst to analyze the current system, design target solutions, and support development teams throughout all stages of the migration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the existing system, identify business rules, dependencies, and constraints

  • Develop detailed technical requirements and specifications for functionality migration

  • Define and align integration contracts (REST APIs, JSON schemas, event contracts)

  • Model and visualize business processes and data flows using BPMN and UML (Sequence, Activity, Component diagrams)

  • Design data migration: mappings, transformations, and migration strategies

  • Decompose technical initiatives into development tasks; prepare User Stories / Use Cases and define acceptance criteria

  • Perform risk and bottleneck analysis for the target architecture

  • Support development teams during delivery: answer questions, participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning

  • Collaborate with adjacent teams and stakeholders to align technical decisions

  • Maintain and update documentation in the knowledge base (Confluence)

  • Participate in complex incident investigation and root cause analysis

What We Expect:

  • Experience in banking, fintech, or e-commerce products

  • 5+ years of experience as a System Analyst, preferably in integrations or product development

  • Deep understanding of REST API principles (HTTP methods, status codes, headers, idempotency, versioning)

  • Hands-on experience with API testing and description tools (Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman)

  • SQL knowledge: ability to write complex queries with JOINs, window functions; understanding of PostgreSQL database structure

  • Ability to create clear and structured diagrams using BPMN and UML

  • Strong technical documentation skills (requirements, specifications, technical descriptions)

  • Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

  • Understanding of microservices architecture and service interaction patterns

  • Experience with legacy systems and data migration

Nice to Have:

  • Experience participating in architecture reviews and technical decision-making

  • Knowledge of CQRS, Event Sourcing patterns

  • Experience with GraphQL

  • English proficiency sufficient for reading technical documentation
