System / DevOps Engineer (Linux / Ansible / Docker / Windows)

Join an innovative Web3 Solutions business who are recruiting for a System / DevOps Engineer to strengthen its infrastructure and engineering capabilities.

They are looking for an engineer with strong experience across both Linux / Windows environments to support the management, automation and continuous improvement of their IT infrastructure and systems.

This is a hands-on technical role combining Systems Engineering, DevOps and Infrastructure Management. You will be responsible for maintaining reliable and secure infrastructure, improving deployment processes and supporting the continued development of the company's technical environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing, maintaining and optimising Linux and Windows-based infrastructure
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment
• Managing containerised applications and services using Docker
• Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration and maintenance
• Implementing and improving monitoring, logging and alerting solutions
• Maintaining infrastructure security, including firewalls, access management and backup strategies
• Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and ensuring system availability and performance
• Supporting internal IT systems and infrastructure services
• Collaborating with Software Engineers to improve infrastructure reliability, automation and deployment processes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience within Systems Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering or a similar position
• Strong hands-on experience administering Linux environments
• Previous professional experience working with Windows environments
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
• Good understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs and infrastructure security
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining IT infrastructure
• Scripting experience with Bash and/or Python
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory would be advantageous
• Fluent English communication skills; German is advantageous but not mandatory
