System Engineer

We are hiring for System Engineer | GNSS / PNT / Digital Signal Processing

📍 Location: Tokyo — Hybrid Remote

💰 Starting Salary: ~10,000,000 JPY

🇯🇵 Japanese: Beginner level

🚀 What You’ll Work On

As a System Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design, simulation, analysis, testing, and evaluation of PNT/GNSS systems.

Your responsibilities may include:

🛰️ PNT & GNSS Signal Engineering

• PNT signal design, simulation, and analysis

• GNSS basic signal design and analysis

• Signal transmission and propagation simulation

• Evaluation of PNT signals using signal simulators

📡 SDR & Signal Processing

• Process and analyze radio signals using SDR

• Work with GNSS and LEO-PNT signals

• Develop signal processing and analysis tools using MATLAB, Python, GNU Radio, and similar technologies

🔬 Testing & System Evaluation

• Evaluate and analyze receivers and electronic equipment

• Design test procedures and prepare technical test reports

• Analyze test data and identify technical issues independently

🧠 Technical Leadership

• Lead projects from a technical perspective

• Identify problems and develop solutions independently

• Contribute to system design, technical documentation, papers, and patents

🔑 What We’re Looking For

Must Have:

✔️ Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field

✔️ 5+ years of digital signal processing experience

→ 3+ years may be considered with a Master's degree + signal processing thesis/project

✔️ Experience with GNSS signal processing and/or SDR signal analysis

✔️ Strong knowledge of digital signal processing, including digital modulation and digital filters

✔️ Experience with MATLAB or similar engineering tools

✔️ Programming experience in C, C++, C#, Python, or similar languages

✔️ Ability to create technical documentation, test procedures, and reports

✔️ Ability to independently identify problems and develop solutions

✔️ Capability to lead technical projects

✔️ Experience writing/publishing technical papers, research papers, or patents

⭐ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of electrical circuits

• Knowledge of hardware systems and interfaces

• Experience evaluating electronic equipment

• Experience consolidating test data into technical reports

• Experience with system design documentation
