System Security Architect

As a System Security Architect in Swisscom’s DevOps Foundation Services Agile Release Train (ART), you will take a leading role in shaping and driving the security strategy for our core DevOps platforms used by thousands of developers. You will work as part of the ART leadership, collaborating with system engineers, developers, and security champions to ensure that our services are secure, compliant, and future-ready. Your input will help us turn security into a true business enabler – contributing to Swisscom’s goal of being innovators of trust. You will: Define, develop, and continuously evolve the ART’s security architecture Drive and maintain the security roadmap in line with enterprise and product strategies Support decision-making on risk mitigation, balancing innovation with compliance and efficiency Work closely with teams and security champions to embed best security practices into daily workflows Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews for new initiatives and features Participate in PI Planning and ART syncs to highlight and track security aspects of ongoing work Ensure contractual, legal, and standards compliance together with governance managers What we offer: Salary from 4700 to 6800 EUR monthly gross 80 EUR monthly cell phone and internet allowance Flexible schedule and possibility to work in hybrid mode Ergonomic home office allowance in value of 500 EUR Possibility to work abroad for 4 weeks each year Health Insurance – includes gym or pool/aquatic fitness membership, issued after 1 month, and covers consultations with a psychologist or psychotherapist Optics (200 EUR every 2 years) 24 working days of annual paid holiday per year 5 dedicated paid learning day’s annually Day off on your birthday or names day 1 day off for social activities (voluntary project, adopting an animal)​ Collaborative, friendly and driven work environment Work on innovations, cutting edge technologies and in autonomous high performance teams Parking options Continuous development environment that fosters your growth (conferences, cross-department experience sharing, learning platforms etc.) Annual salary review Qualifications and Experience: 5+ years in security architecture, DevSecOps, or related roles within complex IT environments Strong hands-on know-how in DevOps practices, cloud and container security, IAM, application and infrastructure security, and network design Proven skills in threat modeling, pentesting, and risk assessment Demonstrated ability to communicate and coach multiple teams, influencing at both strategic and technical levels Excellent analytical and holistic thinking, with a proactive, self-driven attitude Relevant diplomas and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CSSLP, or cloud-focused equivalents (e.g. AWS Security Specialty) are a plus
