System Specialist

To strengthen our Core Banking System Department, we are looking for a:

TEMENOS SPECIALIST (T24) - JUNIOR/MID LEVEL

Permanent position /full-time / based in Geneva /40% WFH possible from Switzerland

Responsibilities (duties included but not limited to the below):

• Collaboration: Coordinate with the Temenos cloud team and work seamlessly across teams to ensure effective system management.
• Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain the Temenos system, ensuring it aligns with our operational needs and remains in optimal condition.
• Technical Solutions: Provide technical solutions and prepare clear Technical Specification documents to guide system development.
• Coding and Testing: Develop code in line with specification documents for the core banking package, thoroughly testing new features and developments.
• Process Enhancement: Design and implement new Temenos processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Operational Consistency: Maintain the consistency of the Temenos target operating model to ensure a unified approach.
• Support: Offer first-level support to address issues and incidents promptly, minimizing disruption.

Experience/Skills required

• Temenos Expertise: 2-3 years of relevant experience with Temenos Transact, including mandatory component coding in T24 R21 & above in TAFJ.
• Banking Knowledge: A strong understanding of the end-to-end process of T24 core banking implementation and a deep knowledge of the banking industry.
• Technical Competence: Proficiency in relevant modules such as TPH, Extensibility Framework, Interaction Framework, Integration Framework, T24 Accounting, Delivery module, SWIFT, SC Securities, Interest Charges and Fees, FX Forex.
• Technical Tools: Familiarity with tools such as JBOSS Application Server, Java Extensibility Framework, Design Studio, OFS, BCON, and DSF Packager.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and effective presentation abilities.
• Financial Acumen: Good knowledge of banking operations, investments, AA product setup, and TPH module.
• Communication: Must be fluent in English to effectively communicate within the team and with stakeholders.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic banking environment.
