Position Overview and Qualifications Helion is actively recruiting for a new Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrators are focused on supporting some of the most technically challenging issues in the service desk. Primary Responsibility: To use advanced technical knowledge to resolve highly complex Desktop and Server level issues. Identifying and resolving chronic issues in the service desk through the problem management process. Other Responsibilities : Assisting outsourced field personnel in resolving any PC, Printer or Connectivity type of issues while they are at client site Proactive tasks such as monitoring/troubleshooting alerts in PRTG, and disk failures. Assisting the Project Management and Account Management teams in gathering audit information from AD/Exchange Saturday On Call Accountable for working on the Saturday Coordinator on call rotation with all techs in Tier 2 Accountable for managing phone calls and tickets including dispatching and prioritization for all Desktop techs. Overflow for emergency issues on Saturday Accountable for being available for urgent escalated Desktop issues Provide technical guidance to the lower-tiered Desktop techs. Skills and Qualifications Maintain and troubleshoot the following technologies Active Directory Topology Replication Auditing DNS Internal DNS zones/records external DNS zones/records root hints DNS forwarders DHCP Managing scopes and exclusions configure IP helper Creating, modifying, and troubleshooting DFS and UNC file shares Group Policy Implementing and troubleshooting Folder Redirection/OneDrive Advanced troubleshooting of group policies Migrating GPO from another server Installing managing and configuring printers on servers and through cloud print management Microsoft Exchange/Microsoft 365 Managing mailboxes and groups Managing and troubleshooting internal and external mail flow Manage and troubleshoot Barracuda email spam filter Install and configure SSL cert Manage send and receive connectors Exchange reporting through PowerShell and 365 GUI Manage public folders Troubleshoot virtual directories Cisco and Meraki Networking Interpret Network maps and monitors in PRTG Troubleshoot performance issues Troubleshoot a device outage VMware/Hyper-V Manage and configure datastore space Manage and configure virtual guests Manage PC’s, Servers including the use of automation through our RMM tool Kaseya Managing and troubleshoot DNS based web filtering solution General Desktop troubleshooting and support Dealer Management Systems: creating and terminating user accounts, setting department printers, installing Reynolds & Reynolds and CDK, modifying and configuring permissions Web Browsers: Software installation, resetting settings, setting compatibility views, configuring advanced settings VPN: Installation and setup of Meraki VPN and AnyConnect CRM: creating and terminating user accounts, configuring mail and modifying permissions Body Shop Software: Installing CCC one, configuring export/import settings, setting up Rome + RomeScan, configuring Insurance integration Certifications: CCENT CompTIA Network+
