WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Systems Administrator IV-VI performs highly complex to highly advanced (senior-level) systems administration work. Work involves coordinating the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of systems. Installs and upgrades computer components and system software. May supervise the work of others. Works under limited to minimal supervision, with considerable to extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO: -Perform highly complex to highly advanced systems administration work in the PeopleSoft Financial and/or HRMS Systems. -Install and upgrade computer components and system software, a customized version of the web-based application PeopleSoft Financial and/or HRMS Systems. -Coordinate and maintain the functionality of the systems environment, implementation of technology solutions, development of server upgrade plans and procedures and installation of operating systems. -Coordinate studies and the preparation of reports that include study findings, recommendations and instructions for proposed system implementations. -Support activities related to building, configuring, debugging, maintaining, performance tuning and supporting PeopleSoft applications for development, testing, QA, production and disaster recovery. -Establish the standards for disaster recovery, data retention, database security, and industry standard monitoring. -Work is performed under limited to minimal supervision, with considerable to extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. -May work outside normal office hours/days when needed to resolve production issues. May provide on-call activities on a rotational basis. -Actively participate in maintaining and providing input to the departmental dashboard. -Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and agency laws, rules, policies, and procedures including IT Handbook and SOPs that govern TWC IT. -Contribute to teamwork and communicate effectively. -Promote an image of IT excellence. -Perform other duties as assigned. YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH: -Experience with PeopleSoft Financial 9.2 or above, PeopleTools 8.56 or above, Application Engine, Unix, and Structured Query Report Writer (SQR). -Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS 9.2 or above, PeopleTools 8.56 or above, Application Engine, Component Interface, Unix, BI Publisher, Events and Notifications, and Structured Query Report Writer (SQR). -PeopleSoft experience with Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS). -PeopleSoft experience with Workforce, Reporting, Accounting and Purchasing System (WRAPS), customized version of the web-based application PeopleSoft Financials. -Experience using PeopleTools and PeopleCode. -Experience using Structured Query Report Writer (SQR). -Working knowledge of CSS, HTML5, JavaScript. -Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft System, Database and Change Administration utilizing the Oracle Database platform. -Experience using Unix in support of PeopleSoft Administration duties. -Knowledge and experience identifying and pro-actively addressing problems/potential risks and implementing timely solutions. -Ability to work collaboratively and fostering positive working relationships. -Strong critical thinking skills and ability to diagnose and solve problems. -Cross-functional collaboration skills, strong planning and project management skills, and ability to work well with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels. -Experience with accessibility requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. -Experience with state government Financial and HRMS YOU QUALIFY WITH: - Systems Administrator IV: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, management information systems or a related field plus two years of experience in systems administration work. - Systems Administrator V: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, management information systems or a related field plus three years of experience in systems administration work. - Systems Administrator VI: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, management information systems or a related field plus four years of experience in systems administration work. - Substitutions for all levels: Education and experience may be substituted for one another.
