Systems Analyst

Role Description The Systems Analyst at Ultra Ads is a part-time, remote role responsible for evaluating, improving, and supporting the technology systems that power digital advertising operations. On a day-to-day basis, this role analyzes business and technical requirements, documents workflows, and translates stakeholder needs into clear system specifications. The Systems Analyst reviews system performance, identifies issues, and collaborates with IT and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems. This role also supports data integrity, helps streamline processes, and contributes to the planning and implementation of enhancements that improve reliability and efficiency. Regular communication with cross-functional partners is expected to ensure systems align with business goals and user expectations.

• Candidates should possess strong Systems Analysis skills, including gathering requirements, modeling processes, and defining functional specifications.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, diagnose issues, and recommend practical, evidence-based solutions.
• Candidates should possess foundational Information Technology knowledge, including familiarity with software applications, databases, and system integrations.
• Candidates should possess Business Analysis capabilities to understand workflows, map user journeys, and align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to investigate system errors, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Relevant qualifications include experience with digital advertising or marketing technology platforms, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with SQL or data querying, knowledge of project management or agile methodologies, and a degree or coursework in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
