At Ekkono, we're seeking a Systems Architect who merges a robust technical foundation with strategic acumen to architect and articulate the blueprint for our infrastructure initiatives. This is a deeply hands-on role across all areas: you will directly build, implement, and maintain everything you design, balancing an internal infrastructure focus with customer-facing technical support and active, end-to-end operational execution.
You will be working alongside highly skilled developers and machine learning professionals. Our solutions are relied upon by industry leaders like Siemens, Danfoss and HMS Networks. As a lean organization, we offer the best of both worlds: enterprise-scale impact without the rigid structures of a larger company.
You will work closely with our product development team on deployment and operation of two of our key products: Synthesis, our cloud platform for managing and operating Edge AI solutions, and Forge, our new platform that helps engineers turn industrial sensor data into optimized machine learning models ready to run on edge devices.
In addition, you will collaborate closely with our customer engagement teams to lend technical expertise to customer-facing projects, ensuring the seamless integration of Ekkono's solutions within external environments.
At Ekkono, we embrace a hybrid work environment. While we appreciate the flexibility of remote work, we believe that in-person collaboration in our office is essential for our team's connection and creativity.

- Identity & Access Management: Hands-on experience configuring and managing Enterprise Identity Providers (IdPs) such as Okta and customer-facing identity management solutions. Understanding of SAML and OIDC exchanges is a bonus.
- CI/CD & DevOps Tools: Experience setting up pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and infrastructure automation with Ansible.
- Agentic Development: Experience or strong interest in leveraging modern AI/agentic development workflows to automate operations and developer tooling.
- Security Mindset: A naturally proactive, security-first attitude toward systemic risks, attack vectors, and zero-trust concepts.
