Systems Developer - Azure, SQL, Python | Remote

A system developer is required to join a growing organisation delivering data-driven solutions that support healthcare and administrative services. This is a permanent position based in Essex, offering flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining scalable data platforms, warehouses and automated data workflows. Working closely with Data Analysts and business stakeholders, you will transform complex reporting requirements into robust, repeatable processes that deliver high-quality data for operational and strategic decision-making.

Do you have?

• Strong experience in Data Engineering, Systems Development, SQL Development or Database Administration?
• Experience designing and building data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines?
• Strong SQL skills, ideally including PostgreSQL and data modelling?
• Experience working with Azure services such as Data Factory, SQL Databases, Function Apps and Storage Accounts (or equivalent cloud technologies)?
• Strong Python development skills for data processing, automation and integration?
• Experience processing and managing large-scale datasets, including terabytes of data?
• The ability to translate analytical requirements into repeatable and scalable data workflows?
• An understanding of how data should be structured and prepared for reporting and visualisation?
• Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools? Desirable, but not essential.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills?
