  • Ensure infrastructure stability and resilience across production, disaster recovery, and testing environments.
  • Support systems that enable OSSplatforms, network management systems, authentication services, and customer-facing applications.
  • Participate in network and infrastructure upgrades, maintenance activities, and technology refresh programs.

Linux Platform Engineering

  • Administer and maintain enterprise-scale Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.

Authentication & Network Services

  • Administer and support RADIUS infrastructure for customer, network device, and operational authentication services.
  • Work closely with network engineering teams to support AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) platforms.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, access control, and integration issues across network and application environments.

Virtualisation & Platform Management

  • Manage and support enterprise VMware infrastructure including ESXi, vCenter, cluster management, storage integration, and high availability services.
  • Perform capacity planning, resource optimization, and infrastructure performance tuning.

Monitoring & Observability

  • Design and maintain operational dashboards, monitoring, and alerting using Grafana.
  • Develop proactive monitoring solutions for systems, applications, and telecommunications platforms.
  • Identify trends and operational risks through data analysis and performance metrics.

Database Administration

  • Support and maintain MySQL databases supporting operational and customer service platforms.
  • Perform backup management, recovery testing, performance tuning, replication management, and troubleshooting.

Incident & Problem Management

  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex systems and infrastructure issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis of major incidents, implementing permanent corrective actions.
  • Support 24x7 operational environments through participation in on-call and after-hours support rosters.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement security hardening standards across Linux, virtualized, and database platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with telecommunications security, operational, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support vulnerability management and remediation programs.

Leadership & Mentoring

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers within the Infrastructure and Operations team.
  • Contribute to architecture reviews, technology roadmaps, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
