Systems Engineer Intern - Image Simulation & Processing (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

In this position you will contribute to the development of an image simulation and processing tool for a running Earth Observation project. In close collaboration with an experienced colleague, you shall implement, test and validate software based on given algorithmic descriptions. Your detailed tasks will be defined with your supervisor according to your interests and strengths. The duration is flexible and a start is envisioned as soon as possible. Your tasks:

• Implement, test and validate software tools based on algorithmic descriptions
• Support validation activities for various, already existent software tools
• Support colleagues with project work such as analyses, documentation update and preparation of
  deliveries

Your Qualifications

• Enrolled student in Earth Sciences, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
• Experience in scientific programming language Python
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and image processing
• Good communication skills and team spirit
• Fluent in English in reading and writing
