In Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art systems and technology that enable our customers to successfully execute their precision strike missions. We are a fast-growing business, partnering with end-use customers to design, prototype, and deploy some of the coolest capabilities that have a direct impact on warfighter today!
We are seeking a Systems Engineering ‘Strategy Lead’ that will directly support the Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line systems engineering director. The selected candidate will be required to be highly versed in the systems engineering life cycle, assist the director on all necessary staffing and personnel actions, and coordinate activities of seven separate SE Section Managers across the entire PGSS portfolio. Currently, this team is comprised of over 80 systems engineers, located in our facilities in southern New Hampshire and Huntsville, Alabama. The PGSS Product line is responsible for key franchise programs such as the Advance Precision Kill Weapons System (APKWS) and the Terminal High Altitude Air Defense (THAAD) System, along with our ‘Market Expansion’ portfolio of programs which lead our efforts to develop various RF and IR Seeker technologies to meet the future needs of our warfighters. The systems engineering discipline is critical to the product development of new and modernized guidance systems. The selected candidate will be ‘all things strategy’ for our PGSS systems engineering team charged to develop requirements, monitor design, complete test and verification, deliver, and support critical mission capabilities.
We are interested in candidates with people leadership, project management, and design experience, who have had a role in new development and/or established programs. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical aptitude and leadership skills. Experience leading systems engineers within multi-disciplined engineering teams through all phases of a program development lifecycle is important, as the individual will be able to influence program execution and mentor engineers.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
