Chemin de Mouille Galand, 1214 VernierThe T Desk Sales Specialist supports the development of the Swiss Repair Centre by acting as a dedicated customer calling and sales follow-up contact for T repair opportunities, reporting to the T Desk Manager. The role focuses on outbound calls to customers to follow up on campaigns and open quotations, reactivate opportunities, clarify needs, encourage decisions and generate additional orders. A strong telephone-based customer approach, high call discipline and native French are essential. The person works in close collaboration with technical salesmen/Mister T colleagues, who own the more complex sales cases and technical knowledge, and provides them with first-level customer follow-up, accurate CRM documentation and qualified handovers. More technical, complex or sensitive topics are escalated to the relevant Mister T colleague or supervisor to ensure opportunities are progressed efficiently towards execution and booking.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a defined regional portfolio of elevator units, customers and T repair opportunities under the guidance of the T Desk Manager, who provides prioritization, direction and development support.
- Execute daily outbound customer calling campaigns to follow up on repair sales opportunities, open quotations and targeted customer lists.
- Process inspection reports as sales leads, create or support repair quotations according to priority, and drive systematic telephone follow-up until the customer gives feedback, places an order or the case is handed over.
- Serve as the contact person for customer inquiries related to repair quotations, providing clear information and coordinating next steps as needed.
- Independently request missing information from the author of the inspection report when details are incomplete or clarification is required.
- Maintain regular contact with the service departments of the regional branches to support smooth coordination and execution of repair activities.
- Register incoming orders in the relevant system and forward them to the branch responsible for execution.
- Spend a significant part of the working day on the phone with customers, explaining simple repair needs, clarifying next steps, overcoming basic objections and actively supporting the conversion of opportunities into orders and bookings.
- Provide first-level sales and customer assistance, while escalating more technical, complex or sensitive cases to local Mister T colleagues as second-level technical and commercial experts.
- Act as a liaison between customers, Mister T colleagues, supervisors and field teams to ensure information flows clearly, handovers are effective and actions are followed up on time.
- Push accurate and complete repair opportunity data to supervisors and field teams for simple repairs, enabling efficient field follow-up and execution planning.
- Maintain high-quality data in Service Sales CRM, including customer information, asset details, opportunity status, follow-up dates and call notes, demonstrating strong digital discipline.
- Monitor open opportunities, chase customer feedback by phone and email, and maintain strong follow-up discipline to increase order intake and booking conversion.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring customer questions, process bottlenecks and data quality issues.
- Develop basic commercial reflexes by understanding customer needs, recognizing sales signals, supporting simple repair proposals in line with internal guidance and knowing when to escalate to second-level Mister T support.
Required profile
- Experience in customer engagement, telemarketing, inside sales, call center operations, customer service, lead generation, or sales support.
- Completed commercial or business administration apprenticeship, or an equivalent qualification, with 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong customer relationship and telephone communication skills, with the confidence and resilience to contact customers repeatedly and professionally throughout the day.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume calling environment, explaining simple topics clearly, following up persistently and helping customers move towards an order decision.
- Interest in developing sales skills, including customer needs identification, opportunity follow-up and basic commercial argumentation.
- Tech-savvy mindset and ability to work accurately with Service Sales CRM, customer data, Excel and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Technical understanding and strong affinity for IT systems, digital tools and accurate data handling.
- Structured, reliable and detail-oriented working style, with discipline in documentation, follow-up and task completion.
- Team player with a structured, responsible and reliable way of working as part of daily routines.
- Ability to collaborate with supervisors, Mister T colleagues and internal stakeholders in a clear and solution-oriented way.
- Fluency in French is required. Proficiency in English is highly desirable, while German and Italian are considered strong assets.
