About the Role

At Alcoa, you will help shape the future of our workforce by connecting great people with meaningful careers. As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will partner with leaders across our operations and corporate functions to deliver end-to-end recruitment solutions, build diverse talent pipelines, and influence hiring decisions that support our business strategy.

You are a proactive and customer-focused recruiter who enjoys partnering with leaders, solving talent challenges and delivering exceptional candidate experiences. You bring strong stakeholder management skills, commercial thinking and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience recruiting within mining, resources, manufacturing or another operational environment will position you well for success in this role to:

• Deliver end-to-end recruitment for salaried, operational, technical and leadership roles.
• Develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines to attract high-quality candidates in competitive labour markets.
• Provide expert advice and coaching to leaders on recruitment best practice, assessment, selection and market insights.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand workforce needs and deliver effective hiring solutions.
• Lead or contribute to assessment centres, talent pooling initiatives, workforce planning activities and recruitment projects.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance recruitment processes, candidate experience and workforce outcomes.

The role may be primarily based out of our Perth or Bindjareb office in Pinjarra. There is the flexibility to work from home and a requirement for site travel (within the South West region) as per your portfolio keeping you connected to the people, teams and operations you support.

What you can bring to the role

• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment and balancing a varied portfolio of vacancies and priorities.
• Strong stakeholder partnership skills, with the confidence to advise, influence and negotiate outcomes.
• A proactive approach to sourcing, talent pooling and using market insights to inform recruitment strategies.
• A candidate-focused mindset and commitment to delivering an inclusive, responsive recruitment experience.
• The organisation and adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and support high-volume activity when required.
• A team orientated approach and willingness to support colleagues during changing priorities and peaks in workload.
• In-house recruitment experience within resources, mining, manufacturing or another operational environment is highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualifications or a diploma in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline would be desirable.
