What Matters at Magid? YOU do!

"The number one key to growth is having good people and that’s what has driven us at every stage of the game." - Greg Cohen, CEO

At Magid, we’re not just passionate about safety—we’re passionate about people. As an industry leader, we’ve built an innovative and collaborative environment where diversity is celebrated, ideas are valued, and personal and professional growth never stops

Help us hire the people who help keep workers safe.

You know that successful recruiting takes a clear process, strong hiring partnerships, and thoughtful use of technology. You can manage a busy pipeline while looking for ways to make hiring work better—for candidates, hiring leaders, and your team.

At Magid, those strengths matter. As a family-owned manufacturer and distributor of personal protective equipment, our mission is to help keep workers safe. We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant who brings a consultative approach to high-volume recruiting and enjoys improving how the work gets done.

Your impact as a Talent Acquisition Consultant on our team:

Working onsite 4 days a week (M-TH) at our Romeoville HQ and 1 day remote, you will manage full-cycle recruitment for high-volume, non-exempt roles, helping hiring leaders find dependable talent in a fast-moving environment. You’ll also contribute to recruitment projects and support hiring for headquarters roles as needed.

This role is a fit for someone who values a well-developed recruitment process, follows through on the details, and recognizes when a step, tool, or approach could work better.

You will:

  • Own your hiring pipeline. Manage sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate communication across multiple openings with shorter hiring cycles.

  • Serve as a consultative partner. Help hiring leaders clarify needs, understand local talent markets, anticipate staffing challenges, and make informed hiring decisions.

  • Build talent pipelines. Use job boards, social media, direct sourcing, and other recruiting strategies to reach active and passive candidates, including in hard-to-fill locations.

  • Create a positive candidate experience. Set clear expectations, communicate consistently, and keep candidates engaged throughout the process.

  • Strengthen hiring practices. Coach hiring leaders on interviewing techniques, preparation, and recruitment best practices.

  • Improve the process. Identify bottlenecks, recommend practical changes, and help put improvements into action.

  • Make technology work for recruiting. Use the ATS effectively and contribute to evaluating, testing, implementing, or improving recruitment tools and workflows.

  • Use results to guide your work. Track hiring goals and pipeline activity, recognize patterns, and adjust your approach to improve outcomes.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 4 years of corporate recruiting experience, including sourcing, interviewing, and managing full-cycle recruitment.

  • Experience managing high-volume hiring, multiple openings, and competing priorities.

  • A consultative approach: you ask thoughtful questions, offer recommendations, and build productive relationships with hiring leaders.

  • An appreciation for structured, consistent recruitment processes, paired with the judgment to adapt to different roles and markets.

  • Experience contributing to or owning a recruitment technology initiative, such as an ATS enhancement, candidate communication tool, automation, or workflow improvement.

  • Comfort using ATS platforms, social media, job boards, and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong organization, communication, and follow-through, with a customer-focused approach to candidates and hiring leaders.

Analytical skills are a plus. If you enjoy using Excel, reporting or recruiting data to understand where candidates drop out, what slows hiring, or which sourcing approaches produce results, we’d like to hear about it.

Why Magid?
