Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Manager exists to find and secure the best possible people for Jacada, in partnership with hiring managers and senior leaders across the business. This is a results-driven role, focused on delivering the quality of talent that helps Jacada thrive.
We're on a clear path to becoming the world's leading positive-impact luxury tour operator by 2030, driven by strong growth across revenue, guest loyalty, and industry recognition. Growing our business means growing our teams, and this role will play a direct part in that journey.
We're looking for someone who brings proactivity and creativity to hiring, who's eager to use evolving tools and resources to take our recruitment approach into the future, while never losing the human touch that is so important to our business.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline and Sourcing
Proactively spec and source candidates ahead of need, so we have a ready pipeline of strong talent before a role even opens
Undertake direct headhunting for priority roles rather than relying solely on inbound applications
Own and elevate Jacada's employer profile across key channels, including our careers site, industry awards, and LinkedIn, to proactively attract and nurture top talent.
Manage relationships with external recruitment partners, including rates, performance, and value delivered, changing providers where necessary
Candidate Management
Drive a seamless, well-managed candidate experience from application through to offer, using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Longlist candidates and work with hiring managers to reach a shortlist for interview
Maintain a clearly defined communication SLA for candidates and external recruiters, prioritising speed and time-to-hire to secure top talent before they're off the market, while upholding standards that protect our brand and candidate experience.
Bring innovation and creativity to how candidates are assessed and filtered, reducing reliance on manual screening calls where possible
End-to-End Process Management
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for each role in partnership with the hiring manager, from kick-off through to handover
Partner with hiring managers to design best-in-class interview and scoring methodology, and support the development of job descriptions and scorecards that bring each role to life
Work closely with HR to progress candidates from contract through to sign date
Partner with the Workplace Manager to align on onboarding for new hires
Strategically partner with L&D to ensure a connected talent ecosystem
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, ideally within a fast-growing or high-volume environment
Experience managing large hiring rounds, recruiting for multiple roles in cohorts, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent hiring processes and handovers
Strong headhunting and candidate relationship-building skills, including managing external recruitment partners
Experience partnering with hiring managers to scope brand new roles from scratch, knowing the right questions to ask to get a role off the ground
Strong research and networking skills to scope and map a role in the market
Ability to lead salary and role benchmarking to keep our offers competitive
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with experience using TeamTailor desirable
Ability to exercise independent judgement and constructively challenge hiring managers and senior stakeholders where appropriate
Experience developing or working with scorecards and structured interview frameworks
Proactive approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions
Desirable: experience recruiting within the travel industry
