About We Are Rosie

By advocating for remote work, inclusion, and flexibility, We Are Rosie has changed how big brands build their marketing teams and unlocked thousands of opportunities for marketers, especially those marginalized by how work traditionally happened.

From our start as a team of three based in Atlanta, We Are Rosie has cultivated a community of 35,000+ marketers across North America dedicated to solving real brand challenges, without the retainers, unnecessary layers, or wasted time of traditional models.

The Role

We’re looking for a Talent Community Experience Manager to lead the programs, operations, and engagement strategies that support We Are Rosie’s diverse and inclusive community of independent marketing professionals.

This is a full-time position that can work from anywhere within the United States and will report directly to the Head of Rosie Experience.

This role is focused on building and operating scalable programs that keep our talent community engaged, informed, prepared for opportunities, and connected to the value of being a Rosie. It goes beyond traditional community management, with a focus on the programs, operations, and experiences that support our talent throughout their journey with We Are Rosie.

You’ll own programs and touchpoints across the talent lifecycle — from onboarding and ongoing engagement to learning cohorts, talent readiness, re-engagement, segmentation, and platform experience. You’ll use community signals and data to understand where engagement is strong, where gaps exist, and what programs, communications, or experiences can better support both our talent and business needs.

This role operates at the intersection of talent engagement, community experience, program management, operations, and data. You’ll work closely across Product, Data, Client Experience, Business Development, and Marketing, while overseeing the Community Learning function as part of the broader talent community experience.

Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Experience

  • Own and evolve the Rosie Community experience across onboarding, communications, engagement programs, and ongoing touchpoints, creating a consistent and high-quality talent journey at scale.
  • Maintain and evolve community value proposition messaging across onboarding, communications, and engagement materials based on member feedback and business needs.
  • Build and manage scalable, tiered engagement programs designed around the needs and behaviors of different talent segments.
  • Monitor community engagement and talent segmentation to identify changes in readiness, engagement, and alignment with current opportunities.
  • Develop structured nurture journeys that move talent through defined stages of engagement and readiness.
  • Design and launch re-engagement strategies for dormant or low-engagement talent and measure their effectiveness.
  • Own day-to-day community platform operations and support platform transitions or migrations in partnership with relevant teams, maintaining continuity in communication and setting clear expectations throughout periods of change.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and distribute audience-appropriate content and communications, providing context around talent segments and their journeys.
  • Own the existing community support model, identifying recurring themes, triaging unresolved issues, and routing persistent gaps to the appropriate teams.

Talent Readiness & Enablement

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Community Learning programs, including course and cohort calendars, logistics, communications, enrollment, and operations, in partnership with the Program Manager, Community Learning.
  • Manage cohort programs day to day, including milestones, enrollment, delivery logistics, communications, and outcome tracking.
  • Own credentialing and talent-signaling processes, ensuring relevant readiness indicators remain current and visible to client-facing teams.
  • Manage logistics and administrative follow-through for approved learning partnerships and provide operational input during evaluation.
  • Help ensure learning programs and positioning remain aligned with active client demand, surfacing gaps or opportunities for strategic review.

Portal Engagement & Experience

  • Serve as a key Community voice into Product, representing talent needs, experiences, and engagement insights in roadmap discussions.
  • Maintain visibility into portal data quality, workflow friction, and engagement gaps and clearly document findings for Product partners.
  • Provide operational and community insights as Product evaluates new tools, integrations, learning resources, and AI-enabled workflows designed to improve the talent experience.

Talent Intelligence

  • Serve as a bridge between data and business stakeholders, helping ensure community and talent insights are understood and actionable.
  • Translate completed analysis from Data partners into clear narratives, recommendations, and potential actions.
  • Connect talent and engagement data to opportunities for improving community programming, readiness, communications, and experience.
  • Distribute relevant talent intelligence and operational context to Client Experience, Business Development, and other key stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Responsibilities

  • Surface talent supply gaps, engagement trends, and emerging community needs to key stakeholders.
  • Track and report progress against quarterly goals, identifying blockers, trends, and trade-offs that require leadership visibility or decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive program and community workflows and partner with the appropriate teams to scope and implement solutions.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to align communications with talent segmentation, priority roles, supply gaps, and community journeys.
  • Work cross-functionally across Product, Data, Client Experience, Business Development, and Marketing to ensure talent programs support broader business priorities.

Requirements

  • Passion for community-building and creating experiences that feel human.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent community programs, community operations, member experience, talent engagement, program management, or a similar role supporting a professional or workforce-based community.
  • Demonstrated experience owning scalable engagement or lifecycle programs for a professional, talent, member, or marketplace community, including segmentation, communications, re-engagement, and program measurement.
  • 2+ years of experience in cohort-based program management, learning operations, or course/bootcamp delivery, including enrollment, milestones, logistics, communications, and learning calendars end-to-end.
  • Experience managing community or member programs and supporting engagement across different audience segments.
  • Experience leading a platform migration, tool transition, or other significant change-management initiative within a community or member base.
  • Comfortable representing member or user needs to Product teams and translating feedback into clear, actionable input.
  • Comfortable taking completed data analysis from a Data partner and translating it into a clear narrative and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create community member-facing communications, stakeholder updates, and internal documentation in a brand-aligned and authentic voice.
  • Strong organizational and program-management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • High emotional intelligence and a demonstrated ability to build trust and strong relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment while maintaining a thoughtful, consistent, and high-quality experience.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Alignment with We Are Rosie’s core values.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using community and collaboration platforms such as Discord.
  • Experience with learning management systems, particularly Moodle.
  • People management experience, including experience leading, managing, or coordinating employees, contractors, moderators, or other program support resources.
  • Practical experience leveraging automation, agentic workflows, or AI-enabled tools to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.
