The Talent Development Manager leads training and professional development for company staff members within the revenue cycle (Customer Service/Case Management, Revenue Qualification/Documentation, and Billing/Collections) and operations departments.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Collaborate with leadership members to design and implement an all-encompassing staff training and development initiative which evolves and is updated routinely to meet organizational needs.
  • Develop training curriculum specific to roles within revenue cycle and operations to create standardized on-boarding/orientation procedures and training
  • Administer the company learning management system – responsible for all content, user maintenance, system updates.
  • Develop and implement continual professional training and growth plans for team members aligned with roles and department objectives.
  • Orchestrate and oversee all training initiatives in all sites through identified training key persons located in company locations/markets.
  • Conduct audit on policy and procedures to assure adherence to developed standard
  • Training all new hires of the organization on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for their particular role.
  • Respond to training requests received by department managers / staff and develop necessary
  • Curriculum as identified to assure compliance with industry change and company needs.
  • Work closely with company software vendor representation to successfully implement new tools developed to realize all opportunity for efficiency and performance improvement.
  • Train on all new processes and procedures when software opportunity arises. Audit employee adherence to new processes and procedures after training to create quality controls.
  • Coordinate continual training and process/policy updates through webinar, and in-person on-site sessions at MSC locations as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma required.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of healthcare experience with home medical equipment preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of all revenue cycle procedures as well as operations of a healthcare provider, including payer regulation and compliance.
  • Customer oriented with strong communication and mentoring skills, including interpersonal communication in a group and one-on-one setting.
  • Organizational skills required; TEAM player with optimistic outlook.
  • Ability to develop, organize and coordinate workflow.
  • Extensive computer (Microsoft), presentation and educational development experience.
  • Routine travel to all company locations to administer training and develop staff.
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record in line with company insurance provider requirements.
