The Role The Talent Operations & Technology Lead is the operational and systems backbone for the Talent team — running the logistics, data, and technology that make every program work day to day. This role implements and maintains the team's existing tools, recommends new solutions where they'd help, and partners with IT to integrate systems cleanly. DEIB programming isn't a separate workstream here — it runs through the same logistics, systems, and data as everything else the team delivers. The role combines hands-on execution with real ownership over process design and governance, so the rest of the team can focus on program delivery instead of the mechanics behind it. Responsibilities Technology Own full administration of the Wingspan LMS: configuration, governance, content organization, user management, and data integrity Administer Udemy and other learning technology platforms Evaluate, pilot, and recommend new talent technology solutions as the function scales, partnering with IT on integration and implementation Build AI tooling for learning operations to improve speed and consistency Serve as primary point of contact for learning technology vendors, holding them accountable to commitments Talent Operations & DEIB Logistics Coordinate logistics for all Talent programs — scheduling, registration, communications, and reporting — so program owners can focus on content and delivery Own event logistics for company-wide speakers, celebrations, and community events: vendor contracts, scheduling, AV, catering, and budget tracking Support the Culture in Action awards program with nominations tracking, logistics, and communications Support ERG events operationally, in partnership with the Learning Partners who own each ERG relationship Administer the survey platform for engagement and inclusion surveys, ensuring clean, on-schedule launches Own the annual talent program calendar, keeping the team aligned Analytics, Reporting & Data Build and maintain dashboards giving the team and stakeholders a clear view of program health and impact Own data integrity across all talent systems Deliver regular reporting to the Senior Director of Talent, including analysis and recommendations Act as operational and technical partner to the broader team on measurement frameworks Build disaggregated DEIB reporting, including participation, outcomes, and equity indicators Process Design & Operational Excellence Design scalable, repeatable processes and workflows that hold up as the team grows Drive automation where it saves time and reduces error Maintain documentation, governance standards, and process libraries so knowledge doesn't live in one person's head Proactively identify inefficiencies and lead improvement effort Desired Skills & Experience 3–5+ years in learning operations, HR operations, or a related field Direct LMS administration experience, including integrations; Wingspan experience a strong plus Strong operations and program management background, running multiple concurrent workstreams without losing detail Experience with event logistics, vendor management, and operational coordination at scale Comfortable across both strategy and execution — able to design a process and then build and run it No specific degree required; hands-on LMS administration, operations, and program management experience matter more than formal credentials Data-literate: builds dashboards, analyzes trends, communicates findings clearly Tech-savvy and curious about tools that could make the team faster Process-oriented and detail-obsessed — builds systems, not workarounds Calm and steady under volume Proactive ownership mentality: fixes problems without waiting to be asked Benefits We offer a competitive benefits program including: Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance 401(k) plan with company match Flexible Time Off (FTO), wellbeing days, paid holidays, and summer Fridays Mental health resources Paid parental leave & Backup Care Tuition reimbursement Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) California Job Applicant Privacy Notice Thank you for your interest in opportunities at SimplePractice LLC (“SimplePractice” or “us” or “we” or “our”).
