The opportunity

We’re partnered with a fast-growing financial services scale-up, fresh from closing its Series A, to hire their first dedicated Talent & People Lead. With new investment secured and ambitious growth plans ahead, they’re looking for someone to build their people function from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you’ll own the full employee journey, from hiring and onboarding through to performance and development, and create the processes and culture needed to support a high-performing, international team.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading hiring across all functions and building a scalable recruitment process
• Designing onboarding, performance reviews and progression frameworks
• Managing HR systems, policies and day-to-day people operations
• Championing company culture, engagement and retention
• Advising leadership on team structure, performance and organisational design

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years in People and Talent, ideally within a startup or scale-up
• Experience in full-cycle recruitment and building people processes from scratch
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law - a CIPD qualification would be a bonus!
• A strong communicator who can influence at every level across the organisation
• A hands-on, pragmatic approach, equally happy shaping strategy and delivering it
• Someone who thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment
• Bonus: experience with international teams or regulated industries
