Talent Pool: First Mate II/2 - Dredging

Our Hopper dredgers (TSHD) and Cutter dredgers (CSD) work around the world on the most challenging dredging projects. Being a sailor with DEME is not sailing from A to B. We need 1st Mates with experience in Dredging to keep our fleet active 24/7 around the world. Your responsibilities You will work on board a TSHD under the Master's supervision You determine how the dredging work should be performed, in consultation with the Master You are responsible during your watch for directing the dredging work and optimizing the production You ascertain whether any maintenance is required with respect to the dredging installation and the auxiliary installation with the First Engineer You communicate with the project managers, site superintendents, surveyors and local authorities.
