Location: Pittsburgh, PA Country: United States Salary: $75K-$85K Start Date: Description: Job Overview: Our client, a global leader in forensic accounting, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Pittsburgh, PA office. This position offers a hybrid work environment with in-office collaboration Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays. The ideal candidate will have 26 years of accounting experience and a strong desire to develop their career in forensic accounting. This role provides an opportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects, including economic damage quantification, insurance claims, and litigation cases, while collaborating with a team of seasoned professionals. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and reconcile claim data to final calculations. Participate in strategic planning sessions with the accounting team. Examine and evaluate sales, production, and other financial data. Assist clients in conducting interviews during financial investigations to identify all involved parties. Perform forensic research to trace funds and locate assets for recovery. Prepare preliminary drafts of report narratives and schedules. Evaluate insurance claims and calculate economic damages. Collaborate with senior staff on litigation cases, business valuations, and first-party property assessments. Represent the firm at local industry functions alongside senior leaders. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws. Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting. 26 years of accounting experience. CPA certification or active pursuit of the designation. Multilingual abilities are a plus. Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle. Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor with a positive and proactive attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
