Shape the future of places. Shape your future with us.

Real estate is a people business. At Frasers Property, we believe every space should serve a meaningful purpose - shaping how individuals, businesses and communities live, work and connect. Our properties are what the world sees, but our greatest assets are the people who make it all possible.

Who we are:
We are a diversified, multinational real estate group on a journey of evolution – strengthening our reputation as an integrated investor, developer, and operator across geographies and asset classes, including industrial & logistics, retail, commercial & business parks, residential and hospitality. Guided by our purpose – Inspiring experiences, creating places for good, we take a long-term view and strive to create lasting value for stakeholders.

How we work:
Every project begins with intention – shaped by local insight, community needs, and a commitment to sustainability and quality outcomes. Across the Group, we bring together diverse talents, perspectives, cultures, and strengths – from strategy, investment and operations to customer experience, technology and beyond. When we do, we create outcomes greater than the sum of our parts: vibrant places that connect, inspire, and uplift.

About the Role

At Frasers Property, we create vibrant, connected communities and world-class lifestyle precincts where people thrive. Connecting our high-profile developments, capital transactions, and standing investments to robust, transparent financial stewardship and strategic tax governance is critical to our enduring success.

Reporting to the General Manager Taxation (Australia), this is a full time, 12 month contract opportunity for an experienced, commercially astute Tax Manager to join our Group Tax team based across our offices in Rhodes and Sydney CBD.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will be an integral member of the Tax Leadership Team, providing high-level commercial advice, transaction support, and compliance oversight across our diverse multi-entity portfolio - spanning Frasers Property Australia (FPA), Frasers Property Industrial (FPI), Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust (FLCT), Frasers Hospitality (FH), and key Joint Ventures. In addition to technical stewardship, you will coach and mentor team members (Tax Consultants and Senior Tax Consultants), fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Direct Tax Governance & Commercial Advisory: Lead the preparation and review of income tax returns, tax provision calculations, tax-effect accounting, and forecasting (including thin capitalisation management). Provide expert advice on the tax implications of commercial transactions, acquisitions, divestments, and corporate structuring.
  • International Tax & Regulatory Strategy: Oversee transfer pricing documentation, Country-by-Country (CbC) reporting, and the implementation of emerging international tax frameworks, liaising directly with regulatory bodies including the ATO and FIRB.
  • Reporting, Transparency & Compliance: Support in Voluntary Tax Transparency and Finance Committee reporting, and uphold robust tax risk management frameworks, policies, and internal controls.
  • Leadership, Coaching & Development: Serve as a core member of the Tax Leadership Team, actively mentoring, developing, and coaching direct reports to drive team capability, operational excellence, and career growth.
  • Process Innovation & Business Partnering: Identify and champion continuous improvement initiatives across reporting systems, delivering internal tax training and translating complex tax concepts into commercial insights for business stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, respectful, progressive, and real. You will also bring:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a Big 4 chartered accounting firm and/or a large corporate in-house tax environment, with demonstrated success managing complex corporate tax and multi-entity structures (property/real estate sector experience is highly regarded).
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Taxation, Accounting, Law, or a related commercial discipline. Fully CA, CPA, or Master of Taxation qualified.
  • Technical Depth: Advanced technical expertise across Australian corporate income tax, tax consolidation, tax-effect accounting, international tax principles, and tax governance frameworks.
  • Leadership & Influence: A track record of mentoring and developing junior to mid-level tax professionals, coupled with the ability to manage competing deadlines and advise senior stakeholders with clarity and commercial acumen.
  • Systems & Problem Solving: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with enterprise tax and accounting platforms (such as SAP, Business Objects, or OneSource) is advantageous.

What you can look forward to

At Frasers Property Australia, we believe the employee experience is a valuable asset that deserves great design and ongoing care. Together, we create:

  • Meaningful Work: Lead tax strategy and commercial structuring across diverse, purpose-led portfolios spanning residential communities, industrial estates, commercial precincts, and hospitality assets.
  • Exciting Careers: Exposure to complex, multi-entity transactions, working alongside experienced executive leaders in an environment that recognizes and rewards high performance.
  • The Right Balance: Flexible, hybrid working arrangements between Rhodes and Sydney CBD offices, comprehensive wellbeing programs, and a collaborative team culture.
  • An Inclusive Culture: We are proud to be recognised as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality, a certified Family Inclusive Workplace, a White Ribbon Accredited organisation, and a Work180 Endorsed Employer for all women.
