Tax Manager

We are partnering with a leading international business to recruit a commercially focused Tax Manager for an inhouse position.

This is a broad in-house tax position offering exposure across direct and indirect taxes, employment tax and partner-related tax matters within a complex and fast-paced business environment.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take responsibility for a diverse range of tax matters, supporting the organisation's ongoing compliance, governance and advisory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing corporation tax, partnership tax, VAT and employment tax compliance obligations.
• Overseeing the preparation and submission of tax computations and returns.
• Providing practical tax advice to stakeholders across the business.
• Managing partner tax reserving processes, calculations and payment cycles.
• Supporting partner tax compliance activities and related reporting.
• Advising on IR35 and off-payroll working requirements.
• Leading the preparation and submission of annual PAYE Settlement Agreements (PSAs).
• Working closely with Payroll, Finance and Benefits teams on employment tax matters.
• Managing tax audits, enquiries and relationships with tax authorities and external advisers.
• Monitoring legislative developments and assessing their impact on the business.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance tax processes, controls and technology-enabled solutions.
• Coaching and supporting junior team members where appropriate.
