The Role & Responsibilities

As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will balance complex, technical tax advisory with the mentoring and development of a high-performing team.

• Strategic Advisory: Lead and deliver on high-value corporate tax advisory engagements, including corporate restructures, M&A due diligence, and international tax planning.
• Compliance Management: Oversee and review the delivery of high-quality corporate tax compliance services for a diverse client base.
• Team Leadership: Mentor, supervise, and review the work of senior accountants and consultants, fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented culture.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary advisor for key clients, translating complex Australian tax legislation into actionable commercial insights.

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong technical foundation and a passion for people leadership.

• Qualifications: CA or CPA qualification is essential (Master of Tax or CTA is highly regarded).
• Technical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of Australian corporate tax legislation (CGT, FBT, GST, Division 7A, thin capitalisation).
• Firm Background: Proven experience working within an Australian professional services or public practice environment at a Senior Consultant or Manager level.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated capability in reviewing work, managing workflows, and developing junior to mid-level tax staff.
• Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a naturally collaborative, client-facing approach.
