Tax Manager / Senior Tax Accountant

Arkansas Talent Group is proud to be partnering with one of Arkansas most Prominent and Respectable CPA Firms to help them find a candidate at various levels in their tax department including Tax Managers and Senior Tax Accountants ! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax preparation and planning, as well as a strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements. Duties would include: Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations Lead engagements throughout all phases of accounting including tax research, tax planning and preparation of financial statements Develop tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and provide expert advice on tax matters Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax-related issues Collaborate with other members of the tax team and firm leadership to deliver exceptional service and value to clients Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate updates to clients and colleagues Qualifications: Bachelors / Masters in Accounting CPA or in process of completing CPA 2-7 years of Tax Experience in a CPA Firm Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations Experience working with various size businesses across various industries preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members Client is offering a competitive salary that is dependent on experience, but will be above market value.
