The team you'll join: Deloitte New Zealand's Tax team is widely regarded as experts and leaders in their field. We are looking for an experienced Manager/ Associate Director to join our Christchurch based team. You will be an experienced tax professional (corporate tax) wanting to take the next step in their career with a leading brand. As a Manager /Associate Director, you will enjoy leading others and supporting them to make an impact that matters. You will set the direction to deliver exceptional client service and demonstrate sales and practice development. This is a real opportunity to make a contribution to the growth of our successful Christchurch team. You’ll advise a diverse range of clients, from some of New Zealand’s largest businesses to high-net-worth individuals and fast-growing companies. Your role will offer exposure to stimulating tax issues, helping you develop both technically and as a leader, alongside a supportive and highly respected team. Your typical day will include: Provide expert tax advice across a diverse client base Lead a client portfolio Help clients manage risks and achieve their business objectives Develop teams through coaching and mentorship Build strong relationships with clients and peers Utilise modern tools to enhance client service and efficiency You are someone with: Minimum of 5 years work experience in a professional services or corporate tax environment A professional qualification in accounting and/or law A strong understanding of end-to-end tax processes and the NZ tax environment Excellent team player and proven organisational and communications skills.
