Tax Supervisor

Position: Tax Supervisor Location: Dayton, OH (Hybrid remote in Moraine, OH 45439) Job Type: Full time Permanent with Direct client Responsibilities: Prepare complex returns and review individual and business tax returns. Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with all staff. Maintain frequent contact with client and handle day-to-day client relationship issues. Adhere to budgetary and time constraints. Supervise, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and reviews. Maintain knowledge on the changes in tax laws/regulations and industry trends. Actively pursue professional development activities. Set individual goals that support departmental and firm goals. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related field required. CPA certification required 3 – 5+ years of experience in public accounting. Willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons. Proficiency in research tools (RIA, CCH, etc.) and ProSystem fx Software preferred. Experience working with clients from diverse industries. Tax preparation and review skills are a plus.
