Service Desk Team Coordinator

Location: Malmö, Sweden
Department: Service Desk, Verisure Innovation
Employment type: Permanent, full-time

Are you passionate about helping teams succeed, bringing structure to complex environments, and delivering excellent IT services?

At Verisure Innovation, we are looking for a Service Desk Team Coordinator to take an important role in driving our daily Service Desk operations. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with people, thrives in a dynamic environment, and wants to develop their leadership capabilities while making a tangible impact on how we deliver IT support across our organization.

In this role, you will be at the heart of our Service Desk operations, guiding and coaching colleagues, coordinating priorities, and continuously improving the way we work. You will play a key role in ensuring that our teams have the structure, support, and direction needed to deliver reliable, high-quality service on a day-to-day basis.

About the role

As our Service Desk Team Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operational activities, supporting the team in navigating challenges, and ensuring that incidents, service requests, and planned activities are handled effectively.

You will work closely with our Service Desk Manager and colleagues across multiple countries, helping to establish consistent ways of working and promoting collaboration across our international organization.

This is a leadership role without formal personnel responsibility. Rather than focusing on resolving tickets yourself, your contribution will come through enabling others to succeed. You will provide guidance, coach team members, help resolve operational challenges, and ensure that the team remains focused on the right priorities.

The environment is dynamic, and priorities can shift quickly. We are therefore looking for someone who can remain calm when things get busy, create clarity in complex situations, and bring people together to find practical solutions.

Your key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize daily Service Desk activities, balancing incoming incidents and requests with planned operational work.
  • Coach and guide team members on service delivery, prioritization, processes, and effective ways of working.
  • Act as a first point of escalation, supporting the resolution of operational challenges and facilitating constructive dialogue when needed.
  • Monitor operational performance, workloads, and service levels to ensure consistent and timely delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and collaboration, translating ideas into practical improvements.
  • Support capacity planning and resource coordination to ensure efficient distribution of work.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and local IT teams across our international organization to align priorities and ways of working.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and a customer-focused service culture.

About you

We believe you are a natural coordinator who enjoys helping others perform at their best. You combine a structured approach with the flexibility to adapt when circumstances change, and you are comfortable taking ownership even when there is no obvious solution.

You lead through communication, trust, and encouragement. You know how to provide constructive feedback, address difficult conversations, and bring colleagues along when introducing new ways of working.

Perhaps you are currently working as an IT Team Lead, Service Desk Coordinator, or in a similar operational role and are looking for an opportunity to take the next step in your leadership journey.

We believe you bring

  • Experience working in an IT Service Desk, IT support, or similar IT service delivery environment.
  • Previous experience coordinating operational activities, guiding colleagues, or taking a leading role within a team.
  • A good understanding of incident management, service requests, escalations, and service-level expectations.
  • The ability to organize and prioritize competing operational demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and coaching-oriented approach.
  • A structured, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to introduce clarity and improvements in changing environments.
  • A genuine interest in developing people, improving service delivery, and growing as a leader.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spokenGood English communication skills, as you will collaborate with colleagues across our international organization.

Experience working with IT service management processes, continuous improvement initiatives, or coordinating distributed teams would be considered an advantage.Above all, we value your ability to build trust, create engagement, and help people work successfully together.

What we offer

At Verisure Innovation, you will become part of an international technology organization where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are central to how we work.

You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our Service Desk operations, influence ways of working, and contribute to a positive and high-performing team environment.

This position also offers an opportunity to develop your operational leadership skills, working closely with experienced colleagues and stakeholders across the organization.

The position is based in Malmö, with a hybrid working arrangement and regular office presence to support close collaboration with the team. As the role supports operations across several countries, occasional international travel will be part of the position. A probationary period applies to this position.
