Team Lead Cloud Telenor Cyberdefence AS is a wholly owned, newly started Nordic cyber security company in the Telenor Group. Telenor Cyberdefence AS' ambition is to become a leading MSSP (Managed Security Services Provider) in the Nordic market, among other things by using Telenor's unique access to threat intelligence to support our services. In addition to delivering modern managed security services, Telenor Cyberdefence AS will also offer specialist expertise through consultancy services and testing of infrastructure / applications with our Offensive Security team. We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – Cloud Security to build and lead our cloud security consulting team As Team Lead – Cloud Security, you will take a central role in developing and scaling our cloud security consulting practice. You will combine deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure security with leadership skills to build, guide, and inspire a team of consultants, ensuring delivery of high-quality advisory services and solutions for clients across industries. Key Responsibilities Build and lead the team: Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of cloud security consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Financial accountability: Ensure the team meets utilization and financial targets by balancing project delivery, resource planning, and business development, supporting the overall profitability and growth of the consulting practice. Service leadership: Define and evolve Telenor Cyberdefence’s Azure-focused cloud security offerings within consulting, ensuring they meet client needs and align with industry best practices. Strategic client engagement: Act as a trusted advisor for key clients, shaping Azure security strategies and representing Telenor Cyberdefence in senior-level discussions. Project oversight: Oversee delivery of cloud security projects, ensuring technical quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction. Technical leadership: Provide expertise in securing Microsoft Azure environments, including architecture, monitoring, governance, and risk management. Practice development: Drive continuous improvement of methodologies, tools, and processes related to Azure cloud security consulting. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in cloud security with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. Demonstrated leadership ability — building or managing teams, leading consultants, or mentoring colleagues. Strong background in enterprise cloud security architecture and operations, especially Azure and hybrid setups. In-depth knowledge of security standards and frameworks and applying them in projects. Proficiency with Azure-native security tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel) and CSPM/CNAPP solutions. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to bridge technical and business perspectives. Personal Qualities Business mindset combined with hands-on technical ability when needed. Collaborative, with the ability to work across teams and clients. Leader who empowers and develops others. Fluent in Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
