Team Lead Full-Stack Engineer

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Team Lead/Senior Full Stack Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in LATAM. Our client is a prominent GovTech company offering a cloud-based ERP solution.

You will join a small, senior engineering team and build vertical slices of the platform end-to-end, from the Angular frontend and API layer through domain logic, data access, and Azure services. The role has a strong frontend focus, with an emphasis on Angular, while requiring solid full-stack expertise across .NET, C#, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

This position requires a high level of ownership and initiative. You will be expected to take features from clarification through production, make sound technical decisions in ambiguous situations, communicate risks and dependencies early, contribute actively to code reviews, support and mentor teammates, and proactively identify opportunities to improve the product and engineering processes.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack expertise with C#/.NET on the backend and current hands-on frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript, including state management and the browser platform.
• Strong experience building and operating applications on Microsoft Azure, with a solid understanding of how applications run in production.
• Strong technical judgment in ambiguous situations, with the ability to decompose requirements, select appropriate designs, and clearly justify technical decisions.
• Proven ability to own features from the initial problem statement through delivery, production, and ongoing improvement.
• Strong focus on quality, including edge cases, error handling, reliability, maintainability, and user experience.
• Ability to proactively identify valuable work, prioritize effectively, and drive blockers and dependencies through to resolution.
• Strong accountability for delivery, with the ability to communicate risks early, set realistic expectations, and follow through on commitments.
• Active participation in pull-request reviews and a demonstrated ability to improve code quality and engineering practices across the team.
• Experience mentoring and supporting teammates through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving, regardless of formal management responsibilities.
• Ability to challenge assumptions constructively, evaluate technical decisions based on evidence and trade-offs, and adapt your approach when new information emerges.
• Ability to propose practical solutions and alternatives, simplify complex requirements, and challenge established approaches when appropriate.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions and work effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Will be a plus

• Experience with Blazor, .NET Aspire, or Clean Architecture / vertical-slice architecture.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, government/public-sector software, or ERP/financial systems.
• Familiarity with Azure Service Bus, Redis, Application Insights, and structured logging.
• Experience building generative AI capabilities, including integrating LLMs, RAG, or AI agents into product features beyond using AI coding assistants.
• Experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines and release management processes with Azure DevOps.
• Experience with GitHub, including GitHub Actions, and Jira.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver complete end-to-end features across the Angular UI, .NET APIs, domain logic, and persistence layers within a multi-tenant platform.
• Build responsive and accessible frontend experiences using Angular 19, NgRx, and Signals, supported by clean, well-tested .NET 10 APIs built with FastEndpoints.
• Design data models and implement data access using EF Core and Dapper with Azure SQL.
• Integrate identity and authorization using Auth0 and Azure API Management.
• Work with Azure services such as Azure Service Bus and Redis to support scalable and reliable platform capabilities.
• Make feature-level design and architectural decisions, document relevant trade-offs, and clearly communicate and defend them during technical reviews.
• Take ownership of features from initial clarification through production and ongoing improvement.
• Participate actively in pull-request reviews and help improve code quality, testing, observability, performance, and maintainability across the team.
• Mentor and support teammates through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, implementation gaps, and opportunities for process improvement, and drive them through to resolution.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurring problems.
• Collaborate with the Team Lead and other stakeholders to shape technical direction and deliver practical, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
• Design and ship complete features across the stack, Angular UI, .NET API, domain logic, and
• persistence, in a multi-tenant platform.
• Build responsive, accessible front-end experiences in our Angular 19 app (NgRx, Signals) and back
• them with clean, well-tested .NET 10 APIs built on FastEndpoints.
• Model data and integrate with EF Core and Azure SQL, and integrate identity and authorization
• through Auth0 and Azure API Management.
• Make design calls at the feature level, document the trade-offs, and defend them in review.
• Raise the bar on quality, tests, observability, and performance, for the code you write and the code
