About the Role
This is an opportunity to build something meaningful.
As Team Leader Application Support, you'll lead a specialist team responsible for supporting, improving and governing a diverse portfolio of enterprise and business applications. You'll play a key role in establishing the processes, standards and governance required to deliver reliable, customer-focused application services across the organisation.
Success in this role will come from your ability to bring structure to complexity, create clarity for your team and stakeholders, and continuously improve how services are delivered.
You'll lead a function responsible for application support, service catalogue management, lifecycle governance and operational performance. Working closely with business stakeholders, vendors and technology teams, you'll help ensure Casey's applications remain reliable, secure, supported and fit for future needs.
This role will particularly suit someone who enjoys building capability, improving operational maturity and leading teams through change.
What You’ll deliver
- Lead Casey's Application Support function, ensuring enterprise applications are supported within agreed service levels.
- Build and develop service catalogue processes, creating clear ownership, support pathways, standards and documentation.
- Establish and maintain application lifecycle governance, ensuring systems are appropriately supported, patched, upgraded and managed throughout their lifecycle.
- Partner with IT Governance and business stakeholders to strengthen oversight of business-supported applications and reduce operational risk.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, efficiency, customer experience and service performance.
- Develop a high-performing team culture focused on accountability, collaboration and customer outcomes.
- Drive smarter ways of working through improved processes, automation and service maturity.
What You’ll Bring
We're looking for a people-focused technology leader who can see both the detail and the bigger picture:
- Experience with enterprise business systems, including ERP and/or CRM platforms such as TechnologyOne, Dynamics 365, Oracle, SAP or similar solutions.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Proven experience leading application support, enterprise systems, technology operations or software support teams.
- Experience developing and documenting operational processes, service catalogues, support models and ways of working that improve consistency, reduce risk and enable scalable service delivery.
- Demonstrated success building structure and governance within complex application environments.
- Experience managing competing priorities, balancing operational demands with continuous improvement and maintaining team effectiveness during periods of high workload.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence, collaborate and build trust across technical and non-technical audiences.
- The ability to navigate ambiguity, identify priorities and lead your team to deliver outcomes in complex environments.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check & Eligibility to Work check.
