If you are an experienced Teamcenter Developer and looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you at our Sidney, OH location! We are not able to provide relocation assistance or visa sponsorship for this role at this time.
As a Teamcenter Developer, you will:
- Design, develop, and support Teamcenter customizations and integrations
- Create and maintain Teamcenter solutions using ITK, SOA, custom handlers, extensions, and utilities to support engineering and business processes.
- Configure Teamcenter data models and business processes
- Develop and maintain BMIDE configurations, business rules, object models, and system extensions to ensure scalable and governed PLM solutions.
- Develop and enhance Active Workspace solutions
- Configure and customize Active Workspace (AWC) using JavaScript and Teamcenter frameworks to improve system usability and business productivity.
- Implement and support core Teamcenter functional capabilities
- Configure and maintain Workflow, Change Management, BOM Management, Classification, Queries, Stylesheets, Organization structures, security (ACLs), and related Teamcenter modules.
- Manage solution deployment, source control, and application lifecycle processes
- Utilize Teamcenter Deployment Center, Git/GitHub, and Azure DevOps to support version control, release management, CI/CD practices, environment promotion, and solution deployment activities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver and continuously improve PLM solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, document solutions, support production operations, and identify opportunities for process improvement leveraging Teamcenter, Azure technologies, and related platforms.
SCHEDULE:
This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person, and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in the office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering technology or a related technical field. Applicants with an associate's degree with more years of experience may be considered.
- 4+ years of relevant experience as a PLM Developer
- Strong working experience on Teamcenter Unified Customization using SOA, extensions, custom handler, utilities, and ITK
- Must be proficient working with Teamcenter Data Modeling and business rules usingBMIDE
- Exposure to configuration and customization in Active Workspace (AWC), JavaScript programming language.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter Deployment Center
- Programming LanguageC/C++development using Visual Studio with strong debugging skills.
- Configuration experience in Workflow Designer, Change Management, BOMManagement, Classification & Classification administration, Stylesheets, Query, PLMXPLM, Organization and ACL
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Strong customer service mindset and business partnership skills with commitment to quality, documentation, and continuous improvement
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud environments
- Working knowledge of Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps
- Experience with Mendix low-code development
