Tech Lead

Job Description This is a remote position. We’re looking for a TECH LEAD (CTO to become) to join a Startup in building a AI transformative platform from the ground up. If you’re passionate about AI, marketplaces, and building category-defining products, we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities: Own the Technical Vision : Define and execute the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Build the AI Core : Develop and deploy AI/ML models and build the product Lead Development : Architect and oversee the development of a scalable, secure, and user-friendly platform. Recruit and Manage a Team : Build and lead a high-performing engineering team as the company scales. Collaborate Closely with the Founder : Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to refine the product vision and ensure technical feasibility. Stay Ahead of the Curve : Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and tools to maintain a competitive edge. Ensure Quality and Reliability : Implement best practices for testing, deployment, and monitoring to deliver a seamless user experience. Requirements Technical Expertise : 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI/ML. Proficiency in building and deploying AI/ML models (e.g., NLP, recommendation systems, generative AI). Strong backend development skills (e.g., Python, Node.js) and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience with scalable architectures, APIs, and microservices. Product Mindset : Ability to think like a product manager and design systems that prioritize user experience and business impact. Startup Experience : Prior experience in an early-stage startup or building a product from scratch is a big plus. Leadership Skills : Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and lead engineering teams. Passion for AI and Marketplaces : A genuine interest in leveraging AI to disrupt traditional industries. Grit and Resilience : A “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
