KLx is the Portuguese subsidiary of Crédit Agricole S.A., a large international banking group that provides IT Skills & Software Development services to the IT organizations within the Group's business lines. Our mission is to support the IT transformation and activities of a worldwide bank, leveraging the expertise of our international campus in Lisbon.

We’re looking for a Tech Lead who will play a key role in ensuring the technical design, quality and continuous improvement of the solutions developed by the squad. Working closely with developers, architects and other project stakeholders, you will guarantee the application of development standards, support technical decision-making and contribute to the technical growth of the team.

The Tech Lead is responsible for:

• Defining and validating the technical design of User Stories and Features, ensuring compliance with architecture standards and non-functional requirements;
• Ensuring the implementation of development best practices within the squad, including coding standards, peer reviews and automated unit testing;
• Translating the technical architecture and Design Authority priorities into concrete guidelines for the development team;
• Defining, specifying and validating the squad’s technical enablers;
• Managing technical debt and ensuring the implementation of the necessary remediation and improvement actions;
• Ensuring the correct integration of applications and technical components into CI/CD pipelines;
• Guaranteeing application quality and compliance with non-functional requirements;
• Supporting and mentoring developers, contributing to the continuous development of their technical skills;

About you

• At least 4 years of experience in technical leadership, software development or similar responsibilities;
• Strong hands-on development experience with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, TypeScript and HTML;
• Solid experience with Angular and the development of modern web applications;
• Good understanding of REST APIs, application integrations and distributed architectures;
• Experience with development and CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Maven and IntelliJ;
• Knowledge of relational databases, particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL;
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and Tomcat;
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within multidisciplinary squads;
• Strong communication, reporting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach and the ability to raise technical risks and alerts;
• Fluent in French and English.
