Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small but growing team of high-performing engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Product Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Management team to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical features. Quality & Stability: Partner with the QA team to squash complex bugs and maintain a high bar for system uptime and performance. Release Management: Own the backend release cycle, overseeing weekly deployments to ensure seamless production rollouts. Hands-on Development: Lead by example by contributing high-quality, production-ready code in TypeScript. Security Ensure the API implements security best practices to meet the standards of our many large regulated customers. The Expert Programmer: You possess a profound understanding of TypeScript. You understand the nuances of the type system, decorators, and asynchronous patterns like the back of your hand. Cloud Native: Deep, granular knowledge of the AWS ecosystem following a serverless approach. You should be proficient in architecting solutions using Lambda, ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and EventBridge. Master Debugger: You have a "sixth sense" for finding bottlenecks and race conditions. You are comfortable diving into distributed tracing, logs, and memory heaps to solve the "impossible" problems. Backend Specialist: You understand API design principles (REST) and have a proven track record of building systems that handle a scaling platform. The Pedigree We are looking for a candidate with a proven history of excellence. You must meet one of the following criteria: Academic Excellence: A BSc (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field from a top-tier global university. Industry Excellence: A minimum of 4 years of experience at a world-class enterprise (e.g., FAANG, high-growth unicorn, or industry-leading tech firm). Why Join Us?
