Here is where your greatest challenge awaits you:

Accor's Commercial Digital & Tech organization brings together multidisciplinary teams including Product, Engineering, UX, Data, Security and Architecture. They create, deliver and continuously improve digital products and services supporting strategic business domains.

Within CD&T, the ASTORE technology scope supports Procurement activities and the relationships between internal teams, hotels and nominated suppliers. Procure-to-Pay solutions (AstoreShop, Birchstreet & Futurelog…) support the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier and catalogue integration through ordering, invoicing and payment.

The Tech Lead P2P is the technical counterpart of the P2P Product Lead. Working as a close Tech-Product pair, the role translates the product vision and business priorities into sound technical choices, a deliverable engineering backlog and reliable production services.

The Tech Lead P2P reports to the Senior Engineering Manager - ASTORE Digital Tools and provides day-to-day technical leadership to the P2P engineering team.

The role covers both the transformation toward the future P2P solution and the continuity of existing services during the transition, including integrations with hotels, suppliers, procurement applications and Accor enterprise platforms.

Your mission:

1. Tech-Product partnership & technical leadership:

  • Work in a close partnership with the P2P Product Lead to align product outcomes, business priorities, technical feasibility, risks, costs and delivery sequencing.
  • Act as the day-to-day technical leader for the P2P squad and the main technical point of contact for Product, Procurement, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Data, Support and Operations.
  • Guide engineers and external contributors, facilitate technical decisions, remove technical blockers and promote ownership, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to discovery workshops, product demonstrations and stakeholder discussions by making technical impacts and trade-offs clear.

2. Architecture, solution design & technical roadmap:

  • Own the P2P solution design within the architecture principles and technology standards defined by Accor, the Senior Engineering Manager and the Architect Solutions.
  • Translate functional needs and critical product flows into scalable, secure and operable solutions, technical enablers and prioritized engineering backlog items.
  • Define and maintain the P2P technical roadmap covering architecture evolution, integrations, non-functional requirements, lifecycle management, security remediation, observability and technical debt reduction.
  • Maintain architecture views, interface contracts, data flows, technical decisions, operational documentation and application lifecycle plans.
  • Challenge SaaS providers and integration partners on solution design, APIs, data, security, performance, resilience, support model and readiness for the expected MVP and subsequent releases

3. Engineering delivery, quality & DevSecOps:

  • Lead technical execution across design, build, configuration, integration, testing, release, migration and decommissioning activities.
  • Provide technical estimates, identify dependencies and contribute to realistic delivery plans with the P2P Product Lead and delivery stakeholders.
  • Ensure engineering quality through impact analysis, design reviews, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, release readiness and compliance with Accor engineering standards.
  • Embed security, privacy, access control, auditability and data protection requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement of development practices, environments, automation, documentation and developer experience.

4. P2P integrations, migration & supplier onboarding:

  • Ensure technical consistency of end-to-end flows between P2P applications, hotels, suppliers, catalogues, ordering, invoicing, payment and reporting capabilities.
  • Coordinate the technical onboarding of suppliers and partners, including integration patterns, catalogue and master-data exchanges, testing, certification and production readiness.
  • Prepare and secure migration waves, coexistence and double-run scenarios, cutover and rollback plans, data migration controls and legacy decommissioning.
  • Identify cross-application impacts and ensure dependencies with current solutions and future P2P providers are actively managed.

5. Operations, reliability & service management:

  • Ensure P2P services are production-ready, observable, supportable and resilient, with appropriate monitoring, alerting, capacity and continuity measures.
  • Monitor availability, performance, incidents, problems, changes and service levels; coordinate technical resolution and drive root-cause remediation.
  • Work with Support, Operations and providers to define clear support responsibilities, escalation paths, operational procedures and service improvement plans.
  • Provide transparent technical KPIs, risks, dependencies and remediation progress to the Senior Engineering Manager and P2P governance bodies.

6. Vendor collaboration & engineering governance:

  • Manage the technical relationship with SaaS vendors, delivery partners and external engineering teams, including quality, technical commitments, risks and dependencies.
  • Contribute to roadmap and product governance with clear technical status, options, recommendations and decision points.
  • Support the Senior Engineering Manager in capacity planning, sourcing choices, technical budget estimates and total cost of ownership analysis.
  • Promote reuse and alignment with Accor platforms, enterprise architecture, security and data standards.
