Purpose

To secure delivery and enforce high engineering standards, we are looking for an BTP Tech Lead & Expert able to design, build and lead complex SAP BTP solutions in a multi-country, multi-stakeholder environment.

The role combines deep technical expertise, delivery ownership and team leadership.

The Tech Lead is accountable for architecture, code quality and delivery. He/she is expected to lead by example through hands-on contributions and ensure alignment with SAP best practices (Clean Core, side-by-side extensibility, API-first).


Key Duties and Responsibilites

Architecture & Development

  • Define enterprise-wide BTP strategy, roadmap, and governance model
  • Design clean core–aligned extension architecture for SAP S/4HANA
  • Establish standards for side-by-side extensions, event-driven architecture, and API-first design
  • Drive adoption of BTP services across lines of business

Technical Leadership

  • Lead developers and act as technical reference
  • Perform code reviews and enforce best practices
  • Structure development guidelines and reusable assets
  • Support team upskilling

Integration

  • Implement integrations via SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management)
  • Design secure and scalable interfaces with S/4 and third-party systems

Delivery & DevOps

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
  • Ensure quality, performance and maintainability
  • Actively participate in testing and validation phases

Job Requirements

Education


  • Completed university degree. BCA or BTech (CS) or MCA equivalent.

Experience

  • 12+ years SAP BTP experience covering SAP Integration Suite (CPI), must have one Implementation and one support experience. Exposure to custom iFlows, API Develop and flow monitor.

Other Attributes

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, audit, risk analysis, and compliance expertise.
