Technical co-founder (equity-only, growing into CTO)

Company Description

Tech for Seniors helps older adults use technology with confidence. We build products around how seniors actually use their phones and tablets. Our first product, Elsie, brings calling, reminders, family photos, a simple help button and an AI voice companion together in one calm, familiar app. Family members and caregivers can set it up and support from their own phones. We're based in Belgium and available in Dutch, French and English.

Role Description

We're looking for a technical co-founder to own the technology behind Elsie and what comes next. The MVP is built and we're running a pilot with real users, so you'd be stepping into a working product, not starting from zero.

This is an equity-only role with no salary to start, and a clear path to CTO as we raise. Remote and part-time are both fine.

You'll lead architecture and hands-on development, keep the product secure and reliable, and work closely with the founding team on roadmap and UX. You'll turn pilot feedback into improvements and later build and lead a small engineering team.

You might be a fit if you:

• Have strong full-stack experience and have shipped production apps
• Know or want to work with our stack: Flutter, Supabase, LiveKit and ElevenLabs
• Are genuinely excited about AI and comfortable using AI tools in your daily work
• Understand cloud infrastructure, security and deployment
• Care about simple, accessible design for non-technical users
• Have startup or early-stage experience and like moving fast
• Are fluent in English

Experience in senior care, healthcare or social impact is a bonus. A degree is welcome but not required.
